WORSHIP & COMMUNITY

The church, as you know, is the community of the New Covenant, it is the Body of which Jesus Christ is the Head. As such, its mission will never change – that mission being to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ (B.C.P. 854-855).  Therefore, as you go through these pages, you will see photographs of people who live in unity with each other and in the power and fellowship of Jesus Christ. Our purpose is the same.  We have all things in common – even in spite of our idiosyncrasies. We worship together.  We pray for each other. When a member is in a crisis we gather at the altar and lay our hands on the individual and on each other’s shoulders and pray in earnest; it is a sight to behold! Later, we gather at table for fellowship. Indeed, we are a family – the quintessential parish family.
